The result of a rather wet and chilly walk along the Tarka Trail. In only a light drizzle I had be lovely view from the footpath below the A39 bypass bridge across the River Camel
There was a flock of Lapwings, a couple of seagulls and a couple of curlews feeding, quite unconcerned with me and the light was subdued giving an almost monochrome feel to the scene. The rain gave some texture to the waters surface and I came away very happy, if a little soggy around the edges!
A curlew and seagulls all in a line.

[WCS-3]Lapwings grazing in the mud. Someone has to.
[WCS-4]He's still there, perhaps if I ignore him he'll go away?
[WCS-5]A curlew and a cheeky lapwing muscling in on the feeding.
[WCS-6]Curlew, looking a bedraggled.
[WCS-7]Curlew, just checking I'm still there.
